Hot clubs and puns in Bucharest
Personally, I like these:
QPUB from Romana in Amzei
Planters, still there
Public House, there still
Trafalgar Pub, on Dorobanti
MCM Cafe in University, which looks really nice
Fire, especially on Tuesday nights when they put only ROCK, although they also put some shit songs
Maxx, though I never been there for some time
EndZone, from Regie.. not great, but it goes somewhat
What other clubs and discos do you think spending evenings it’s worth?

- QPUB from Romana in Amzei
Only fools and stupid people there; it sucks
- Planters, also there
When you have money, it's wonderful
- Public House, also there
I was once there but I couldn’t find the place
-Trafalgar Pub, on Dorobanti

- Thread, especially Tuesday night when they only put ROCK, in spite the fact that they also put some nasty songs

huh? "

That EndZone it’s a lame club
I am surprised you have not said anything about Tipsy - a place that rules

But the last time I went there the music was too loud and my era hurt (especially since it was an infinite loop CD with Britney Spears). There was too much “chicken” and there wasn’t any “Rural Pizza” on the menu and what the lady recommended me as being the old Rural Pizza turned out to be a big thorn.
I haven’t heard anything about the other clubs you’ve mentioned, so that means they suck.
I’d find more interesting a thread about the worst clubs, that still make claims. At least it would be informative.
When I was to the Public House, there was no nasty music like Britney Spears; I didn’t even know they put such shit there.

Fire sucks -because of the people that go there (plus this idea of Pub –Club A type- it’s outdated)
Anyway, all the pubs you’ve mentioned (maybe except a few) suffer because of the clients and that only obliges me to look for smaller and unknown places, where I can really feel like home.

Cafe Einstein on Dorobanti square.. for the intimate atmosphere and not only.. the prices does not justify and Irish Coffee completely skipped whiskey
- Zexe on Eminescu and cafe for the wonderful papanasi and each evening concert plus a special care for customers
- Bolta Rece for the fresh vegetables salad- the garden is absolutely wonderful in summer (cold beer , chilly place)
And last but not least .. the Barbar from Brosteanu , the street that passes through the ASE’s front –the new building; where if you have luck and catch they day with the bartender that knows music it is worth going and drinking a beer and listen from Led Zeppelin to Orbital
and there would be a lot .. if I remember I’d say

So, in Titan , at MattSport or so, or the terrace on top of the confectionary across the clinic… neam Amzei: Q, Office, Planters;; near Unirii: Silva Beerhouse or Eliad House, near Urdiste…a small and unknown one..Trinity on Mantuleasa… they put a new music style every night, pleasant atmosphere, although the music is quite loud..indeed there would be Laptaria and the terrace, Swing House, Green Hours, Grand Maguy (which also hadn’t been mentioned- near ProTV), Web Club on 1st May…and to make a confession I am terrified by the name and the area Regie so I haven’t been to any bar there…the discos are excluded because I do not go in such things…if I remember something I’d add it on the list… I’ve almost forgot Burlane and Rustic Restaurant, across Gloria Cinema… a bit towards the horseshoe where the beer and food are at a decent price beside central area.

I recommend for relaxation: Blues Cafe in Villacros passage, opposite the IGP (Calea Victoriei, Victoria store). I go for more than a year there, almost every weekend for a glass of gin.
